About Phosphosiderite: Phosphosiderite is definitely a mouthful to say, but essentially means that this stone is a combination of phosphorous and iron. Phosphosiderite is often found in shades of pink, purple, lilac, red, or brown. This is a relatively rare stone and can be found in only a couple of places in the world. Many believe that phosphosiderite holds universal power and is often used in meditation. It is thought that this stone brings happiness, relaxation, and restores emotional equilibrium.

About Kyanite:  The name Kyanite derives from the Greek word kyanos, meaning blue. Kyanite has a deep silvery blue similar to blue sapphire at its best. Kyanite is an interesting gem that was discovered during the nineteenth century. Kyanite is found in mountainous regions in the United States (Montana and North Carolina), Switzerland, Brazil and Myanmar. It was once believed that a kyanite suspended from a human hair could follow the earth's magnetic force. Early travelers sometimes used it as a compass when exploring unknown territories.

About Amethyst:  Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name comes from the Ancient Geek “methustos” ("intoxicated"), a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkeness; the ancient Greeks and Romans wore amethyst and made drinking vessels of it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication. Amethyst is renowned for bringing a sense of calm and clarity to our chaotic world.

About Lapis: Lapis is a semiprecious stone valued for its deep-blue color caused by the presence of the mineral lazurite, which is the source of the pigment ultramarine. Lapis is an ancient stone with history that dates back to ancient Egypt, where it was used as a favorite stone for amulets and ornaments such as scarabs; it was also used by the Assyrians and Babylonians for seals. Lapis jewelry has been found at excavations of the Predynastic Egyptian site Naqada (3300–3100 BC), and powdered lapis was used as eyeshadow by Cleopatra. In Medieval times, lapis was used as pigment for artists’ paint.

About 14k gold fill: 14K gold filled wire is a professional jewelers grade wire.  Gold filled wire is not plated. It is a tube of solid 14K gold mechanically bonded to a brass or silver base. There is 100 times more gold in gold filled than in gold plate wire. This layer of gold must be a minimum of 1/20th of the total metal weight to be called gold filled. The color looks exactly like 14k gold.  It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewelry.

Your jewelry will arrive beautifully gift wrapped in a small box. Multiple items will be combined, unless separate boxes are requested. If this is a gift being shipped directly to the recipient, please let me know. I will be glad to include a note from you.
