About grossular garnet: Green grossular garnet is a member of the traditional garnet family, but bears colors in shades of mossy greens. It was first discovered in the far reaches of Siberia in the 1800's, originally named gooseberry garnet after the Chinese gooseberry, known in the U.S. as Kiwi fruit. Grossular garnet exemplifies hope, empowerment, and all things nurturing from Mother Earth. About Grandiderite: Originally discovered in Madagascar, grandidierite was named after explorer, Alfred Gradidier in 1902. Grandidierite is rare and only found within a couple areas and classifies as the 3rd most expensive stone in the world. Due to its rareness, its metaphysical properties are yet to be discovered. Some think grandidierite influences the heart and throat chakras.
